What is neurology?
Our department provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for a wide range of neurological disorders and offers you support with neurological problems.
Neurology is the branch of medicine that deals with disorders of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and the peripheral nervous system (muscles and nerves).
Neurological disorders affect a large number of people in Croatia and include Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, epilepsy, cognitive disorders, including dementia, sleep disorders such as narcolepsy, and muscle and nerve disorders such as peripheral neuropathy, myopathy, myasthenia gravis, and motor neuron diseases.
