EXAMINATION AND DERMATOSCOPY

Preparation before the examination:

• No special preparation is required
• Do not apply make-up, creams, or powders to the area being examined
• Bring previous dermatological documentation (if available)

CRYOTHERAPY

Preparation before the procedure:

• No special preparation is required
• Report any wound healing disorders or medication therapy
• After the procedure, temporary redness or a blister may occur in the treated area

AESTHETIC TREATMENTS – HYALURONIC FILLERS (RESTYLANE)

(Restylane, LYFT, Vital, Vital Light, Refyne, Defyne, Kysse, Volyme, Fynesse)

Preparation before the treatment:

• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before the treatment
• If possible, avoid aspirin, NSAIDs, and supplements that may increase the tendency to bleed (e.g. omega-3, vitamin E) several days before the treatment
• Report:
  • a tendency to bruise
  • autoimmune diseases
  • previous aesthetic treatments
  • pregnancy or breastfeeding

SURGICAL EXCISION OF SKIN LESIONS

(one or more moles / lesions)

Preparation before the procedure:

• No special dietary preparation is required
• Be sure to report:
  • therapy with anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs
  • blood clotting disorders
• It is recommended to come in comfortable clothing that allows access to the surgical area
• After the procedure it is necessary to:
  • keep the wound dry and clean
  • follow instructions on wound care and suture removal

BIOPSY OF A SKIN LESION

HISTOPATHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS (PHD)

Preparation before the procedure:

• No special dietary preparation is required
• Report therapy with blood-thinning medication
• Bring previous findings if available
• After the procedure, mild local pain or sensitivity is possible

LOCAL ANESTHESIA

Note:

• Local anesthesia is administered as needed and does not require special preparation
• Report known allergies to local anesthetics
