Neck ultrasound (neck US) is a safe, non-invasive, and painless diagnostic examination used to assess the soft tissue structures of the neck, including the thyroid gland, lymph nodes, salivary glands, and subcutaneous tissues.

At Polyclinic Drinković, neck US is performed using modern ultrasound devices, with immediate interpretation of the findings and the possibility of further diagnostics as needed.

What does the examination look like?

The examination is brief, painless, and requires no special preparation. The patient lies down while the doctor uses an ultrasound probe to examine the neck area. The findings are available immediately after the examination.
