If a suspicious lesion is found, you can immediately have a cytological analysis done as well. The cytological report is completed within 5 working days.

A thyroid ultrasound is a completely painless examination. It is performed in a lying position. The radiologist will measure the size of the thyroid, check the morphology, and monitor any possible changes. No special preparation is required for this examination.
