A stomach and small intestine transit study is a diagnostic method in which real-time video X-ray imaging is used, also called fluoroscopy, and it is used in diagnosing problems such as difficulty swallowing, gastric reflux issues, hiatal hernia, obstruction or stenosis of the upper GI tract, unexplained vomiting, nausea, abdominal discomfort, digestive problems, and other pathological conditions.
