What our patients say
Today I had a gastroscopy with Dr. Prim. V Supanc and I would like to thank both the doctor and the nurse who was with him today for their professionalism, kindness, and empathy, and who tried to comfort me and make me laugh because I was very afraid of that examination, and she succeeded. Findings normal Thanks once again to the whole team!

Wrist MRI Zagreb – precise diagnosis of pain and instability

Wrist magnetic resonance imaging (wrist MRI) enables a very detailed view of the bones, ligaments, tendons, joint surfaces, cartilage and soft tissues of the wrist. The examination is non-invasive, without ionizing radiation and represents the gold standard in the assessment of complex painful conditions and wrist injuries.

When is a wrist MRI recommended?

Wrist MRI is recommended for:

  • long-lasting or severe wrist pain
  • swelling, weakness, and limited mobility
  • suspected ligament injuries (TFCC, scapholunate, lunotriquetral ligament)
  • tendon damage and tenosynovitis
  • fractures and occult fractures not visible on X-ray
  • degenerative changes and osteoarthritis
  • inflammatory, infectious, or tumor-related changes
  • postoperative conditions and follow-up after procedures

What does a wrist MRI look like?

The examination is painless and takes on average 20–30 minutes. The patient lies still while high-resolution layered MRI images are taken. Contrast agent is used only when medically indicated.

Why choose wrist MRI at Drinković Polyclinic?

  • modern high-resolution MRI device
  • report interpretation by a specialist radiologist
  • fast scheduling and short waiting times
  • clear and professional interpretation of findings
