What is Knee Magnetic Resonance Imaging?
Knee Magnetic Resonance (MR) is an examination that diagnoses changes in bone, ligaments, meniscus, muscles, and other knee structures that are more detailed than other imaging methods. MR uses a magnetic field to obtain detailed cross-sections through the area when imaging and does not use ionizing radiation.
When Is Knee MRI Used?
